Fall HOA General Meeting and Elections for FY24/25

The Fall General Meeting was held on October 13th, 2024 at the home of Frank and Beatrice Parish.

A good turnout of HOA Members were in attendance.  The weather was wonderful.

We had two guest Speakers at this meeting that were Ms. Jennifer Gibbs, a fellow neighbor within this Subdivision, to bring everyone up to date on the planned court date for Rodney Gates, owner of the Sawmill upstream from our HOA.  Then Mark Lawrence with the Gwinnett Couney Watershed Department provided an overview on the upcoming Project to update the Dam Overflow tower.  Everyone was bery attentive and happy they were there.

Annual elections of the HOA Management Team were successfully conducted.  The new HOA Officers and Directors are listed under "Board of Directors" heading on this Website.

Spring HOA Membership Meeting 5-21 2023

The Spring Members Meeting was held at Mr. and Mrs Marc Nieto's home.

Eighteen residents were represented.  That's 60% participation.  Disappointing show of support I must say.

Because the President, Jim Gore, was not able to attend, the V.P. Diane Cestaro and the Treasurer, Mary Jane Shepard shared the chair for the meeting.  All said they did a wonderful job.

This meeting was when the annual Dues were turned in by attendees and others that sent their checks with another member.

Guests from the committee that formed and fought to defeat the Remetales Company from successfully getting motions passed to allow them to put a new Metal Sorting Plant at Buford Hwy. and Gravitt Trail, were there to be thanked by our membership for their hard and great work.  The plant was turned down completely.

The meeting was adjourned approximately 4:30 for refreshments and visitation.
